Technique

Many years ago I came to believe the following; “Technique is the key to a freer form of musical expression”!

There are many elements related to technique such as control, touch, speed, power, dynamics, dexterity, independence, coordination, and more; and all of these elements are woven into the fabric of this school.  On a foundational level however, you can think of technique as you're ability in four basic, but critical areas; hands, bass drum, hi-hat foot, and independence / 4-way coordination.

Technique will allow you to express yourself on the drum set in untold ways, and will give you the tools you need to function at whatever level you aspire to in the world of drumming and music; from recreational drummer, to local or regional pro, to drum instructor, to international drumming artist!
