John Bonham is considered by many to be the greatest rock drummer that ever lived! Bonham was a key member of the iconic hard rock band Led Zeppelin, and propelled them rhythmically with his thundering, heavy grooves!
In this class, Heavy Grooves – John Bonham Style, I have prepared 6 video lessons for you. The first lesson is an Introduction to Heavy Grooves – John Bonham Style, where outline some of the stylistic elements of the John Bonahm Style. Following that, I have recorded 5 video lessons which together include 18 Bonham style rock beats. These beats incorporate the heavy stylistic elements of the John Bonham style.
Not only will these lessons help you to more clearly understand some of the key characteristics elements of the John Bonahm style of drumming, but these rhythms will help you immensely on your quest to improve your drumming, and most specifically, to play a better Bonham style heavy groove.
