Jazz Drumming – Foundational (volume 1), includes an introductory lecture on jazz drumming along with 7 video lessons. The video introduction provides a brief summary of the history of jazz music as well as the jazz drumming style. The video lessons that follow present different elements of the jazz drumming style to help drummers establish a foundation for developing the ability to play jazz.
This is the first class in a series of classes designed to provide you with the foundational knowledge and skills you will need to play this beloved American art form. Taking this 1st step will set you on the path as you grow your jazz drumming artistry, and work towards moving into other more advanced forms of jazz drumming.
