While you can definitely play drums and have fun without learning to read music, learning to read music will open up a world of knowledge that you would otherwise not have access to; and if you want to be a professional musician, learning to read music is a must!
I have put together a comprehensive program which includes all of the elements of reading drum music. Reading Music (volume 1) includes 10 lessons which will start you on a step by step journey into the world of reading drum music. Of all of the instrument types, reading drum music is the easiest! This class is the first step on the path to becoming a competent reader of drum music.
