Description
There are 10 double stroke open roll rudiments. In this class, you will learn the proper execution of each rudiment along with tips to master the “stroke and rebound” which is at the heart of playing these rudiments at tempo. You’ll also find my personal “inside secret” on how to remember and play the proper number of strokes in each roll. Finally, we’ll break down each of the double stroke open roll rudiments, while looking at the notational foundation of each rudiment, as well as any specific difficulties you may find playing each rudiment. There is also a demonstration of each rudiment with tips and suggestions on playing them. Also included for download are the lessons files for practice and study.
