Rhythms of the World

There are 195 countries in the world, and they all have their own rhythms and sounds.  Learning to play rhythms from other countries will make you a  more creative, skillful, and versatile drummer; and they're so much fun to play!

In Rhythms of the World (volume 1), there is an introductory lecture followed by the 1st 7 rhythms in this series.  I've taken each rhythm one at a time, talking a little bit about the rhythm and its origin, along with the notational elements of the rhythm, and then a demonstration of the rhythm. Rhythms of the World (volume 1) includes the following rhythms: "blues", "boogaloo", "disco", "the hora", "the rhumba", "the twist", and the "Viennese waltz".
